It featured Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman, along with Bob Odenkirk. Tolman was praised for her role as Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair stated that Tolman "calmly and assuredly stole" the show. Tolman won an Critics' Choice Television Award for her performance in the category Best Supporting Actress in the category of Films/Miniseries.
