Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former football tight end. Gonzalez played in the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the best tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards and third place in total receptions, Gonzalez also was among the NFL tight end with the most receptions.

Gonzalez is an anchor for FOX NFL KICKOFF - FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFLSUNDAY. This airs at 11:00 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring from the NFL after 2013 is not the case. The 15th of March, 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons a 2-year contract for $14,000,000. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the NFL's active leader in yards receptive.
